Kinetic Bike Bearings is a stockist and supplier of premium quality bicycle specific sealed bearings for wheels, bottom brackets, frames and headsets.

We stock our own 'Kinetic Bike Bearings', but also supply a choice selection from other premium brands such as Enduro, FSA and Acros.

We have had many years experience supplying independent bicycle shops with their workshop bearing requirements and over the years developed a comprehensive range with many hard-to-find and obscure bearings.

SEALED WHEEL & BOTTOM BRACKET BEARINGS (Retail)

We have researched the top manufacturers wheels for both road and mountain bike to determine our stock portfolio from brands such as American Classic, Bontrager, DT Swiss, Easton, Hope, Mavic, FSA to name a few.

SEALED HEADSET BEARINGS

We stock a very comprehensive range of headset bearings, many of which are specific to a bike brand.  It can be quite tricky to determine the actual bearing you need, but if you remove your bearing that needs replacing you can quite often determine the bearing you require by taking a few measurements.  Each bearing we sell has listed an inner diameter, outer diameter, depth (in mm) and chamfer angles in degrees.  If it is specific to a brand we will give further guidance in the listing too. We have quite a comprehensive range of independent bike dealer stockists of our headset bearings, so if in doubt we recommend you go to your nearest stockist where you will be able to try for size.

SEALED FRAME BEARINGS

Although the part references for frame bearings are often the same as the wheel bearings, it is usually suggested that frame bearings are supplied as full complement type bearings (sometimes referred to as MAX complement).  This means that the bearing race is fully loaded with bearings with no gaps and no cage, which results in the bearings being able to withstand a higher load.

QUALITY/PRECISION

Precision quality of bearings stocked is always a minimum of ABEC-3 standard, which should be more than adequate to cater for most repairs. Research suggests that a lot of bikes are supplied with ABEC-1.

The ABEC rating however only deals with precision of the balls/races, but does not take into account other considerations such as Seal Type, Material Type, Grease and noise.  The Electrical Motor Industry defined new standards for these specification details and thus 'EMQ' bearings are said to be the highest 'premium quality' for bearings.  Many of our wheel bearings are bought to this standard (specified in product description), so you can rest assured our products are of premium quality.
