    Seals: LLU contact seals are a closer fitting seal to rotating parts, and thus provide better protection against dirt and moisture ingress. Use where bearing longevity is more important and/or you frequently use your bike in harsh conditions. If racing or chasing watts is your priority then our non-contacting low friction seal version of this bearing (LLB Seals) might be more appropriate.

    Seals: LLB non contacting ultra low friction seals, where the seal does not contact the rotating parts. Use where rotation speed is most important (usually racing).  If bearing longevity is more important and you use your bike in harsh conditions frequently, then our contacting seal version of this bearing (LLU Seals) might be more appropriate.

    These high end precision bearings with ultra low friction seals are a viable alternative to hybrid ceramic bearings, and what we would recommend (instead of hybrid ceramic).
